About the Course

This book looks at a broad spectrum of clinical applications of drawing that assist clinicians in both the initial assessment process and subsequent therapy sessions.  Providing a unique blend of assessment techniques and therapeutic uses of drawings, this paperback text is a practical resource for clinicans working in a variety of treatment settings.  This edition updates literature reviews and provides new case studies and illustrations that highlight the ease of using drawings during diagnostic and beginning therapy sessions, as well as dealing with the unresolved issues of termination.  Chapters focus on individual work, family systems theories, and group therapy, placing special emphasis on such timely issues as trauma, family violence, and substance abuse.

This course is based on the book, Using Drawings in Assessment and Therapy created by Gerald D. Oster, PHD & Patricia (Gould) Crone, M.A., A.T.R. (2nd Edition)
