About the Course:
Part 2 chapter 1 targets behavioral health program administrators who wish to adopt or expand technology-assisted care (TAC) in their organizations, as well as clinical supervisors and behavioral health service providers who work in small practices and fulfill administrative roles. It covers programmatic, technological, budgeting, vendor selection, data management, privacy and confidentiality, and regulatory considerations likely to arise during adoption of technology-based interventions.
Behavioral health care program administrators, counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychologists and social workers. This course is appropriate for all levels of knowledge.
Identify the various modes of TAC, their benefit, and risks to clients.
Acknowledge the HIPAA, local and state requirements regarding TAC.
Review reimbursement with insurance companies and acknowledge the limits of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement,
