This course contains two separate articles. The first, “Telemental Health Care: An Effective Alternative to Conventional Mental Care,” is a systematic review, using high quality research articles on the applications, technologies, advantages and challenges associated with telemental health care published since year 2000. The second, “Future Directions in the Use of Telemental Health to Improve the Accessibility and Quality of Children’s Mental Health Services,” provides a brief overview of progress in providing telemental health services to children and suggests future research needed to support the advance of telemental health in the delivery of children’s mental health services.
This course is recommended for health care professionals, especially psychologists, counselors, social workers, and addiction counselors who seek knowledge about Telemental Health Care. It is appropriate for all levels of participants’ knowledge.
