About the Course:

This course is based upon a bulletin for professionals that provides examples of lessons learned by child welfare administrators and practitioners in accessing early intervention services for children and families identified by the child welfare system. While policies and practices vary from state to state, this bulletin explains the overall importance to child welfare of the Part C Early Intervention Program and offers potential strategies to address barriers. Contact information for state and local programs is provided at the end of this document.
