This course presents information on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance abusers who have a co-occurring disorder. It provides treatment improvement protocols (TIPS) in an easy to access, clearly presented manner. The subjects addressed also include motivation, suicidality risk, residential interventions, and information regarding specific forms of co-occurring mental disorders.
