About the Course:

Must a psychologist report past child abuse revealed by a client? This ethics article helps psychologists to identify ethical, legal, and professional factors to be taken into account when encountering a client’s report of past child abuse.

Note: The course article refers to some Ethical Standards from the 1992 “Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct”. It is recommended that course participants also review Standard 5 (p.14-16) of “Comparison of 1992 and 2002 Ethical Principles.” However, exam completion will not require reading of this Standard.
