About the Course:
The effects of childhood abuse and neglect perpetrated by family members and the intergenerational transmission of the cycle of substance abuse and child abuse and neglect are the focus of this TIP.
This course is recommended for social workers, counselors, psychologists, and other human services and behavioral health professionals who seek knowledge about the treatment of substance abusers who have experienced childhood abuse and/or neglect. It is appropriate for participants with intermediate to advanced levels of knowledge about the topic.
