This reviews a variety of “promising practices” for treatment and presents examples of treatment programs in action. Special populations in the juvenile justice system are also addressed, as well as examples of what does not work when attempting to treat juvenile offenders.
This course is recommended for health care professionals, especially psychologists, counselors, social workers, and nurses who seek knowledge about the juvenile justice system and mental health. It is appropriate for all levels of participants’ knowledge.
