About the Course

Pregnancy and childbirth are major life events accompanied by profound biological, social, and psychological changes. The presence of an eating disorder in this period may negatively affect the pregnancy (e.g., weight gain), delivery (e.g., caesarean section, preterm delivery) or offspring (e.g., birth weight).
This course will investigate predictors of eating disorders in the postpartum period.
